Victoria Baths Wedding | Olivia & Sam
Liv & Sam’s beautiful church ceremony followed by Victoria Baths Wedding
Olivia & Sam’s wedding at Victoria Baths was nothing short of incredible. Victoria Bath’s had been on our ‘bucket list’ of wedding venues for a very long time. With it’s quirky, alternative take on weddings, it was the perfect fit for us to shoot at.
We caught up with Liv at her parent’s house in the morning of the wedding where Liv, her bridesmaids and family were snacking on pastries. Liv’s Dad had made a make-shift make-up studio in the garden and it was perfect with the lovely weather. We then headed to their local church for a beautiful and heart-felt ceremony.
Confetti at church
The confetti photograph after the wedding is one of our top ever photos. We’re currently using it as the front of all of our business cards! It’s just so full of joy and colour, we love it so much.
Ant headed off with Liv and Sam to get some outdoorsy shots whilst I headed to the venue to capture the guests mingling around the swimming pool. It was mind-blowing how cool Victoria Baths is for a wedding venue. We shot their family photos from inside the pool, with the band playing and straight after everyone was in the pool (empty of course) for a dance off!
Victoria Baths Wedding
Not only is Victoria Bath’s a cool and original place to celebrate a wedding but it has so much history for the locals. One of the reasons Liv & Sam booked it is because they had relatives who swam at Victoria Baths when they were children. So it had a really sentimental feel to it too.
The layout of the reception tables was beautiful with incredible bunting and it was like a proper English tea set up. Only the food was catered by the incredible Taste The Love who blew the guests out of the water with their amazing food.
Memorable Speeches
Later on was the speeches. Liv’s Dad’s speech made me cry! and the Best Man’s speech had us both in stitches! and then some of the guests dressed up as waiters and served dessert. It honestly was just the most fun day. I bet none of the guests will forget it in a hurry.
Manchester Weddings
We don’t cover many weddings in Manchester and that’s something we are hoping will change over the years and we can cover more and more. There are so many unique spots and we love heading down the motorway to see our Mancunian friends and couples.
We wish Liv & Sam all the love in the world!
