Amy & Dan’s Beautiful Winter Wedding at Thornton Manor, Cheshire

All about Amy & Dan’s Thornton Manor Wedding Day

Amy and Dan’s Wedding was a stunning wintery affair, with hints of grey, white and blue.

Thornton Manor is the most perfect venue any time of year. But the venue really comes into its own in the winter time. With beautiful roaring fireplaces, dark wood and a really relaxed and tasteful feel. Thornton Manor is such a stunning place to get married. Oh and it has it’s own secret passage way which is just VENUE GOALS. We even managed to sneak in to get some couple’s portraits in there!

Amy got ready at her Mum and Dad’s house before heading to Thornton Manor to finish getting dressed and finish up her hair – with that amazing hairpiece! I fell in love with Amy’s two-piece dress from Flamingo Boulevard. A local wedding boutique that stocks the most unique and stunning dresses I’ve ever seen!

We had the pleasure of meeting the lovely ladies from Flourish Flowers who created the bouquets that were filled with foliage, white flowers and blue thistles. Absolutely classic winter bouquet! Stunning!

The Ceremony

The ceremony was just so sweet with a few different readings and lovely vows. The light from the large window in the ceremony room really lit Amy & Dan beautifully and added an extra bit of pop to their images!

After the ceremony we headed amongst the guests mingling to get some lovely candid shots of everyone. Then we grabbed Amy & Dan for some fun couple’s portraits in their now empty ceremony room.

We managed to get some lovely group photos of everyone in the foyer area of Thornton Manor, which is always so beautifully decorated. The decoration really fit in with the winter vibes of the wedding and the light from the windows was perfect!

In the evening reception hall the room looked like something out of a palace! It was SO REGAL! Haha!
