Liverpool Parish Church + Queens, Liverpool Wedding | Jade & Pete

The lovely Jade & Pete

were due to get married in our favourite month of May in 2020. But we all know what happened in Feb/March and weddings during the coronavirus lockdown were no longer permitted. Luckily, Jade and Pete rescheduled their date for August 2020, when most restrictions were lifted and people were able to meet and catch up. Although their wedding wasn’t the day they planned and on a much smaller scale than originally planned, I couldn’t help but notice what a wonderful day it was. Understated, classy and fun.

Jade and Pete married at the famous Liverpool Parish Church near the Liver Buildings and had a socially distanced ceremony. The church was big enough to facilitate the restrictions and it felt no different than most weddings. They still had beautiful readings and a piece of stunning music played by Jade’s best friend on the piano. It was such a personal and emotional ceremony.

After the ceremony we headed a few roads down through town to Queens Restaurant on Queens Avenue in the City Centre. It was so lovely, as people were meeting outdoors, the streets were fairly busy. Restaurant and bar goers celebrated with Jade & Pete by congratulating them and cheering them as they walked by. I honestly must say that this was a highlight for me, after months of lockdown and restrictions and not being able to do our job properly.. It felt like getting back to normal, but in a big way!

Speeches were done outside Queens in the beautiful historic walk way. It was so lovely and chilled to have everyone relaxing outside and enjoying the lovely weather while food was prepared inside. There was a surprise video call from one of Jade & Pete’s friends which made for such an emotional moment followed later by Jade’s brother performing a guitar solo for them to dance their first dance to.

We honestly wish Jade & Pete all the love in the world. They are the loveliest couple and their close family are wonderful.

Take care,

Kimmy & Ant
