What isn't there to love about the vibrant city of Liverpool? We absolutely love shooting in our home city and capturing the dynamic colours along the way. We have the LGBTQ+ flags along Castle street which are so welcoming and energetic and make the perfect podium for a cheers and a cheeky kiss! This road used to lead up to the historical Castle of Liverpool and on the other end leads to the stunning Liverpool Town Hall, a venue we absolutely love shooting at.
We also have the Cain's Brewery and Baltic Triangle areas that are filled with beautiful and modern street art from local artists and also has amazing places to eat! There are markets and music and it's just a wonderful place to go for a wander on your wedding day for some images!
Then we have Matthew Street which is filled with iconic Liverpool pride and musical history, you're bound to get a load of cheers here if you're newly married and opt for some quirky images around The Cavern Club.
Finally we have the waterfront, which isn't just for amazing views across the Mersey! There are so absolutely beautiful and historical buildings and pockets of alternative styles such as Art Deco and modern. So many interesting colours!
We can't discount the incredible city centre itself. Full of hustle, bustle & banter the city centre is a great place to get married. Most couples opt for St George's Hall for their ceremony as the venue can handle elopements right up to hundreds of guests! There are loads of pubs nearby to grab a quick pint on your way through to your reception!
There are some amazing pockets of greenery in certain places (we love to hunt them out) but even without the flowers, there are always some painted on somewhere!
Even if you're not a scouser, we highly recommend you to visit Liverpool and see if its the place for you! So many couples come here for their wedding because they know they will be so welcome and have an amazing time!
