Invisible Wind Factory Wedding

Back story

We first met Emily & Jonny back in 2021 when the world was opening back up again and the world was trying its best to get back to reality. Jonny & Emily were set to get married and we spent some time with them on their day in 2021 at St George’s Hall, you can see the blog from their Micro Wedding HERE.

But come 2022 and Jonny & Emily knew they wanted a big party with their nearest and dearest, as soon as it was safe to do so.

Getting Prepped

Both Emily and Jonny got ready at Liverpool’s amazing Titanic Hotel, just a ten minute walk from their wedding venue! We love Titanic as it has such dramatic lighting, the rooms are big and dark with a vintage and industrial feel. There are these huge windows with a view to the River Mersey and they allow in beautiful pockets of light and it always looks gorgeous!

Invisible Wind Factory Wedding Venue

The booked the incredible venue the Invisible Wind Factory. Based in the up and coming Ten Streets area, this ex wind turbine factory is just full of quirky character and is the perfect setting for an alternative wedding day.

With the ceremony being conducted by a close family member (well the legal bit was boxed off last year) it was such a fun and laid back environment and you could tell that this was the most perfect day for Jonny & Emily

With lots of DIY bits and ‘picky bits’ instead of canapés, a lovely meal followed by a mountain of brownies which were ceremoniously slathered in caramel sauce by Jonny & Emily.

Speeches took place on the stage and it really gave a unique feel to the them (and they could be seen by all the guests)

The Night Do!

With the absolute relaxed, festival vibes that were had at the wedding, it was only right that Emily & Jonny had an incredible band to party the night away with. At one point Jonny & Emily got onto the stage, had a little dance, stage dived and then crowd surfed! Who can say they did that on their wedding day? I don’t think this would have been achievable without the coolness of the venue. They are obviously used to holding events, especially music ones and were so accommodating with everything. They really made the day exactly how Jonny & Emily wanted it.

It’s been lovely to see Jonny and Emily on 2 of their best days and we really do wish them both all the love in the world!

Take Care,
