Ffion & Chris’ beautiful rainy wedding day at Talhenbont Hall Country Estate, Snowdonia

After driving for hours in the torrential rain, in the morning, we arrived from Liverpool to beautiful Snowdonia and Talhenbont Hall for Ffion & Chris’ big day. Let me tell you as photographers it can be quite stressful when the forecast is downpour all day, but when the venue looks as beautiful on the inside as it does on the outside then the worrying stops!

We arrived to be greeted by Chris and his Groomsmen who were heading down for a dip in the lake adjacent to Talhenbont Hall. Ant headed down with them (with a full waterproof coat on!) and I headed to meet Ffi and her bride tribe in the rooms at Talhenbont.

After a gorgeous chill morning we headed to the ceremony room and it was dressed to perfection with pink and peach tones which really looked beautiful against the exposed brick backdrop. The ceremony was wonderful and one of Ffion’s lovely Bridesmaids sang her down the aisle. It was an emotional but fun ceremony followed by a little gap in the weather allowing us to get the iconic confetti shots that we love so much.

We managed to dip in and out throughout the day and get some incredible couple’s shots and candid photos. Then it was time for the reception. It was high energy and fun all around with beautiful speeches, gorgeous food and that led nicely into a quick dress alteration for Ffi in the evening after the first dance. With a much easier moveable dress and a beautiful big white bow in her hair, Ffi was ready to dance the night away with Chris and all their guests.

Not to mention we managed to grab some pizza from the van outside on our way!
