How far in advance do I need to book with you?

We tend to get booked from 18 months to 2 years in advance! But you never know, some dates aren't as busy as others so always best to contact us.

How would you describe your photography style?


We shoot documentary style so our work is very candid, with very minimal staging and it has a real natural vibe. Our couples love how laid-back and chilled out we are on the day, it really helps to avoid any extra stress on the day.

How would you describe your working style?


Laid-back and fun, we like to enjoy the day too, and like to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed with us. Once you break that ice, it's all smooth sailing!

How many weddings do you photograph in a year?


We usually limit ourselves to around 40 weddings each year. We find that we can give our couples the dedication that they need before, during and after their wedding.

That way couples get our time and attention, rather than feeling rushed.

Do you use any lighting equipment?


We are primarily natural light photographers, however we do bring with us some flash guns for some creative work in the evening and also during the winter months, and for use in darker venues. We don't angle the flash directly at people, we use diffusers and angle the flash towards the ceiling as this suits our style and is more flattering

Where are you based?


Liverpool, but we travel across the UK for weddings and even shoot a few abroad each year!


What packages do you offer?

We have three different packages to choose from. Not every couple want the same thing, so we like to offer a good variety of options. To get all the info contact us.

How much of a deposit do you require and when is it due?


We take a £500 booking fee, which is due at the time of booking along with your contract and booking form. Your remaining balance is then due 6 weeks before the wedding date.

How many images will we receive?


This can vary from wedding to wedding, most of our packages suggest a range of 400-800 images.


Can I see an example of a complete wedding album?

We have images on our wedding stories page, but if you want to see an example of one of our couple's wedding galleries in full, we are more than happy to send you a link with our couple’s consent.

May I contact previous customers for references?


You can, unfortunately, due to GDPR we cannot supply you with past clients information, but if you know someone who's wedding we've shot before, I'm sure they'd be happy to give you the info! We do have a review section on our website which our couples are happy for us to share.

Although you have the copyright, can I print my own photos from the wedding gallery?


Yes! Please do! with all of our images our couples have printing rights, so there are no additional charges from us for printing your own images. We do offer the facility to order prints through your gallery, but you can download them and print them wherever you choose. We always recommend somewhere of a good standard, so that your prints don't fade with time.


What do you think distinguishes your work from that of other photographers?

Our working style is very informal, laid-back and natural, we like to have fun with our couples and their guests. This reflects in our images which are usually filled with laughter or natural emotions which shows that people are comfortable enough with us to be themselves.

Do you have a portfolio I can view?


We have a large selection of images across all of our social media as well as a dedicated wedding showcase page.


What type of equipment do you use?


We both shoot on Canon cameras, which are Canon 5D MKiiis. We use prime lenses as they work best with our creative approach and work best in low light conditions! Which is common to find with the UK weather!

Do you shoot in colour and black + white?


Our editing style includes a combination of colour images and black & white. Sometimes moments just need the distraction of colour removed to really have that extra impact.

Can I give you a list of specific shots we would like?


Our couples are usually happy with us having full creative control of how we shoot. However, if we know in advance of any particular events that might pop up, we are more than happy to document them. We are also more than happy to capture a few family portraits which we will ask a list of prior to the wedding.

What information do you need from me before the wedding day?


About 6 weeks before the wedding, we will send you a pre-wedding questionnaire to find out about all of your vendors, timings, locations etc and we will have a chat with you closer to the date to finalise all of details.

Are you the photographers who will shoot my wedding?

Yes, it's always us, we are always the two main photographers, we will sometimes bring along assistants or second shooters but we will always discuss this with our couples first. We sometimes offer one of our associate photographers on dates that we are booked when couples enquire.

Do you have backup equipment? What about a backup plan if you are unable to shoot my wedding for some reason?


We have backup equipment with us, which we will bring to your wedding. In the incredibly unlikely situation that we are unable to photograph your wedding, we are in a very privileged position to be a part of several large networks of local photographers, who will be more than happy to stand in for either of us.

If my wedding site is out of your area, do you charge a travel fee and what does that cover?


All UK weddings are inclusive of travel costs, however for weddings more than 2 hours from Merseyside, we may request cover for the cheapest local accommodation so we don't have to have a big drive home all tired after the big day.

Are you photographing other events on the same day as mine?


No, unless you've booked just one of us to shoot your wedding. That leaves availability for another booking on the same date for the other photographer! This rarely happens though as we like to keep each other for back-ups!

How will you (and any assistants) be dressed?


We both dress smart- casual. Ant tends to wear chinos with a plain shirt/t-shirt, Kim wears tea dresses with tights and flat shoes/boots. Any assistants we have on the day will be dressed similarly.

Is it okay if other people take photos while you're taking photos?


We are happy for guests to take photographs, but we usually ask for us to photograph alone during formal group portraits and couple portraits. We also request that we are the only professional photographers shooting on your day.


What time will you arrive at the site and for how long will you shoot?

We arrive 2 hours before the ceremony to cover preparations and then we are with you until around 9pm.

If my event lasts longer than expected, will you stay? Is there an additional charge?


We are happy to stay longer than expected, however we would prefer to know of this in advance. We understand that wedding days can sometimes run over time. We do charge an additional £250 per hour if our couples request it.

Can I customise a package based on my needs?


We are happy to discuss any customisations you might have, from adding albums, which we offer a discount for if you pre-order to alternative coverage and destination weddings. You're best off contacting us for a proper chat about it. We also offer elopement packages from just 90 minutes coverage on week days.

Do you include engagement photos in your packages?


We don't have them included in the packages. We prefer to do a pick and mix so couples can add on extras such as pre-wedding/engagement photo shoots, albums, films etc.

What type of album designs do you offer? Do you provide any assistance in creating an album?


When buying an album it includes the full design and two lots of revisions. This gives our couples full control over the final look. There's lots of covers to choose from and all album prices include a protective box and delivery. There are 20 spreads (40 pages) included in our standard albums that come in 8x8", 10x10" and 12x12" sizes.

Do you provide retouching, colour adjustment or other corrective services?


We have our own distinctive editing style, this usually includes minimal adjustments to people's physical appearances, but we can remove objects that are distracting from within the image. For more extensive retouching we can offer this at an additional cost by outsourcing to a professional retoucher.


How long after the wedding will I get the proofs?

We will pop some sneak peek images on our social media pages the next day after the wedding. You will then be sent a private, password protected, online gallery link that comes with its own app. This will be sent out within 4-12 Weeks after the wedding, depending on the time of year. All images are downloadable.

Will I receive a written contract?


Yes, we will send you a digital contract with all of the information you need, at the time of booking. You just have to both sign it with your finger and pop it back to us and we’re all yours!

Do you have liability insurance?


We do, we have full liability and indemnity insurance. We keep this under review and updated annually.

Do you require a meal?


We don't request to have a meal provided by our couples. We are happy to bring along a packed lunch, but we never turn down free food, if it's offered!

Can you photograph my wedding abroad?


Yes, we photograph weddings across Europe and further afield. Contact us to discuss your destination wedding plans.

Can we hire just one of you?


Yep! We have a package that offers just one of us for the full day.
