The lovely baby Henry’s Mummy & Daddy invited me out for a little day trip around Southport Promenade this frosty December weekend, and it was just lovely! Henry’s Mummy had tried to book a photo shoot in before little 7 week Henry had even arrived! We were all set to go for a gorgeous bump/couple’s shoot and the weather turned sour for a couple of weekends on the go. Followed up by Boris’ Lockdown 2.0 and it wasn’t until after Henry’s safe arrival and a few weeks to recuperate that we organised it again. Henry brought some luck with him because the weather was beautiful and there was ACTUAL MUSIC down by the amusements which we could hear all over Southport on our stroll and snap!
We got some cute peaceful newbornesque (new word) shots of Henry in a deep snooze for the first part of our session, but after a lovely feed from Mummy he was full of beans and we managed to get some shots of him looking very intense, but adorable of course!
It was such a lovely early afternoon meet up with new parents, something which I haven’t been around for about 7 years myself! And it was so nice to see a loved up couple sharing all that love with a new human that they made together. I think these images are very natural and show just what a beautiful family they are.
